Dr. Tsun Kit Chu is a resident specialist of Department of Family Medicine and Primary Health Care in the New Territories West Cluster of Hospital Authority. He is now the physician in-charge of Yuen Long Community Care Centre.
After graduating from the University of Hong Kong in 2003, he has completed hospital based and community based vocational training in family medicine in Hong Kong. Now he is a family medicine specialist and fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, and an honorary clinical supervisor of a family medicine training center of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians.
With a strong commitment in providing quality primary care service, Dr. Chu strives to provide better management in chronic diseases and mental health in primary care. He has initiated audits in chronic disease management, and has worked closely with allied health professionals in a collaborative mental health care program.
Dr. Chu has received research fellowship in the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians, and is a member of the Hong Kong Primary Health Care Research Network. His specific research interests are in women’s health, chronic diseases and health service utilization in primary care.
