Paula Peterson works as the Senior Program Manager at the Mater UQ Centre for Primary Health Care Innovation. She comes to this role after many years in working with refugee communities in a number of capacities - clinical, teaching and research, community development and service management. Currently she is engaged in developing health literacy strategies for refugee women and young people. For the past four years she has managed the South East Queensland Refugee Health Advisory Group which has proved to be a key bridge between health service provision and aspiration and community needs and voices.
