Susan Thomas is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Remote Health,a joint centre of Flinders University and Charles Darwin University, in Alice Springs.She is working with the Centre of Research Excellence in Rural and Remote Primary Health Care(CRE),leading several projects identifying core primary health care services that should be available to residents of rural and remote communities and developing cost benchmarks for the necessary workforce and infrastructure required to ensure their sustainability. Susan is collaborating with the CRE in Primary Health Care Microsystems and the NT Dept of Health Gains Planning in Darwin. Susan has a Doctorate in Pubic Health and has worked in a range of primary care settings in Australia and overseas.
